What the demo actually is
The demo is not the opening of the main game. It is a small, self-contained map built for the demo:
- The witch’s protective warding magic is failing.
- You explore the demo map, help creatures and solve physics puzzles.
- You collect Glimmer — the demo’s objective currency.
- Collect enough Glimmer to find a route back to the witch’s home.
That means demo tips do not automatically transfer to the full game’s story progression. The systems — Froggy movement, brewing, local split-screen and the Shade system — are the useful part to learn.
What to practice in the demo
- Froggy movement. Leap, swing, glide and interact with objects. If you can move comfortably with Froggy, the full game’s traversal will feel familiar.
- Physics puzzles. The demo is built around moving objects and finding alternate routes. Look for objects that can be pushed, rolled or used as a bridge.
- Local split-screen. If you plan to play with someone on the couch, test the split-screen now and check the performance on your PC.
- Shade copies (solo). The demo shows the solo Shade system; learn how copies interact with switches and puzzle objects.
